Ken Robison Lifetime Achievement Award

In 1978, Mark Van de Grift, Vice President of Ernst Concrete, began his career at Ernst and quickly moved through the company ranks into leadership roles where he managed operations, ran point on major acquisitions, and made his mark on the business and the industry at large.  During his tenure he has added over 30 concrete plants and also gravel operations to the organizational footprint and been instrumental in leading the automation and modernization of the company.  He has also played a major role in the evolution of Command Alkon product lines, providing insights into how these solutions can add value to operations across the industry.  We are pleased to honor Mark Van de Grift as the 2022 Ken Robinson Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

Honoring our late founder, Kenneth G. Robinson, the Ken Robinson Lifetime Achievement award is the most prestigious award that we present to an individual. The recipient of this award is selected in-house and demonstrates leadership, character, integrity, devotion to their work and their team, and has made a positive impact in the industry.
